Kaiser Dressage Apprentice

Madison Lareau has quickly become a valuable member on the Kaiser Dressage training team.  This capable young rider has a mature attitude and a strong work ethic beyond her years. Her passion for horses and riding is evident by the degree of her participation.  Although still quite young, her accomplishments are impressive and exceed that of many more mature riders.

Madison began riding in weekly lessons at a local riding facility when she was eight years old.  In 2009 Madison became a horse owner, receiving her first pony, Raindrop, for her tenth birthday. Together they began competing locally, first in hunters then eventing.  Late in 2013 Madison and Raindrop arrived at Forrest Hill Farm with hopes of continued growth and new challenges.

2014 was a banner year for Madison, filled with new opportunities and exciting events. She readily fit into the new active environment, spending as much time as possible at the barn. Madison volunteered for any and all activities. Not only did she muck stalls, feed, etc. but she became a competent tractor/farm machinery operator. Her willingness and capabilities resulted in an opportunity to exchange work for coaching. Madison began riding a variety of horses at different levels under the tutelage of the Kaiser Dressage trainers, rapidly accelerating her knowledge and skills.

Madison and Raindrop were able to participate in a full 2014 show season due to the enthusiastic support of her mother, Jane. They completed their first show season with FHF and Kaiser Dressage in dressage and eventing, winning championships and year end awards:
