Kaiser Dressage Intern

Raegan McCool is a capable young rider with a mature attitude and a strong work ethic.  She started riding at Forrest Hill in the Spring of 2016 and entered the internship program that fall.  Since that time her riding and training skills have grown quickly. Raegan works with a variety of mounts, from youngsters just beginning their training to a Grand Prix School Master, under the coaching of Kaiser Dressage trainers Jennifer and Margaret Kaiser. She ended her first year at FHF successfully competing in her first recognized dressage shows at training and first level. She qualified for the USDF Regional Championships with scores in the mid-70% on FHF Mercedeswood.

Raegan began riding when she was four years old and was fortunate to own her first horse, Onyx, at the age of 7. She began showing Onyx when she was in first grade in Mini 4-H. Over the next few years she successfully progressed through 4-H and compiled a winning record in open shows in English, Trail, Western Pleasure, Showmanship classes, with many championships to her credit.

At Forrest Hill, Raegan is making the most of the opportunity to grow her skills as a rider and trainer and to learn about all of the aspects involved in running a successful breeding, training, and boarding business.

Raegan’s ambitions evolve as her experiences multiply. Her goal for 2018 is to earn her Bronze medal. We foresee a promising future for this enterprising and gifted young rider.
